What goes into a modern meeting room AV system

Displays and projection

A clear image is the starting point. We specify commercial displays from Samsung, LG, NEC, Sony, Philips and iiyama, single or dual, HD or 4K, sized for the back row of the room. Commercial panels are built for all-day use and come with a proper business warranty. In larger spaces, projection or an interactive touchscreen may suit better.

Meeting room audio

Poor audio ruins more meetings than poor video. Smaller rooms work well with a video bar using beamforming microphones. Larger rooms need ceiling microphone arrays and a digital signal processor (DSP) that levels voices, cancels echo and removes background noise. We specify and tune audio from Poly, Logitech, Yealink, Neat and Q-SYS for the acoustics of your room.

Cameras and video conferencing

Speaker-tracking and auto-framing cameras keep remote attendees engaged by showing whoever is talking. We install certified video conferencing systems for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, so meetings start with one touch on the table controller.

Wireless presentation and room control

Guests and staff can share content without hunting for the right cable, using wireless presentation. For more complex rooms, a control system from Crestron, Q-SYS, AMX or Control4 brings displays, audio, lighting and blinds together on one touch panel. It can also set the room up automatically when someone walks in.

Room booking

Door-side room booking panels linked to Microsoft 365 show whether the room is free and release no-show bookings, so your rooms get used properly.

1. Free site survey. We visit the room, check sizes, sight lines, acoustics, power and network, and talk to the people who’ll use it.
2. Design and fixed-price quote. You get a clear specification and a fixed price, with no surprise extras. See our AV system design service.

4. Testing and training. We test every call path and source, then show your team how to use the room.
5. Ongoing support. Optional support and maintenance keeps the room updated, monitored and working.
