Regardless of the room size, an easy to view display is an important feature to have. A standard meeting room will often have single or dual displays, or a projector and drop down screen.
LFD’s can be arranged in a single or dual format, they are usually HD or 4K displays. We partner with a number of brands, from Samsung, LG, NEC, Sony, Philips, Iiyama amongst others.
Choosing the correct display is important, and a proper commercial display or commercial TV will ensure the correct warranty and after sales service.
Projectors have always been a staple technology in meeting rooms. Often for size vs price they still cannot be beaten, but it’s important to realise there are many different types of projector technology, and its important to specify the right technology for the right space.
We supply a range of high resolution projectors that have a high brightness level (often measured in ‘Lumens’)
The average meeting room can be packed with technology, so it’s important that they can all interact and react with each other in an efficient way. In traditional meeting rooms, you have lots of devices, along with lots of remotes and other control interfaces.
We have experience with all manner of control systems from Crestron, AMX, ATEN, Control4 etc so we can help you pull everything in the room together.
Depending on the experience required and the technology provided, we can set up automatic sequences to set up a room based on sensors detecting a new occupant.
For more complex systems, there might be a tablet or a control panel with multiple buttons controlling multiple functions and input devices. This could be power, sources, light control, blinds control etc.
Post pandemic, companies are looking to upgrade their conferencing facilities to encourage their staff to return to the office. Upgraded facilities also make it easier for these users to communicate with the staff that are still working remotely.
For the smaller meeting room, it is possible to use smaller individual speakers and mics, or soundbars with beamforming microphone technology. Although, for the larger space, ceiling panel mics may be required. These impressive microphones use beamforming to capture sound from every corner of the room.
The DSP (or Digital Signal Processor) will tweak the received audio so a loud booming voice will be received at the same level as a quiet voice at the far side of the room. These panels are often installed within a standard ceiling tile space.
Often a visit and examination of the space in question will help us ascertain which audio solution will work best for the space in question.
There are a huge range of cameras available for all sized spaces and they are often now available in either high or 4K Resolutions. Object tracking / person tracking is also pretty much a standard feature.
Depending on the space, additional cameras may be required, for instance to track the speaker and the audience. Broadcast quality video is often possible now and flexible spaces can be used for additional configurations such as large meetings etc.
It is often possible that rooms can be split up into smaller spaces using sliding partitions or room dividers. It is important to choose the right technology so the space works in whichever way it may be configured. Smart room sensors and partition sensors can often enable or disable specific technology based on partition status
